Roc Nation representatives have confirmed that the Yeezus film poster which made the rounds of the internet yesterday was fan made. While Kanye West has confirmed that a Yeezy movie is in the works (written by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Hype Williams no less) fans will have to keep themselves busy with the film’s trailer for the time being.
Originally appearing on Milk studios creative director Mazdack Rassi’s Instagram, the blood spattered poster’s design draws heavy comparisons to Easton Ellis’ American Psycho, (the inspiration for THAT Scott Disick clip). With the film’s 30 second trailer packed with plenty of couture face marks, Yeezus as Jesus religious imagery and wild horses running through snow, designers are sure to have plenty to draw upon once it comes time to draw up an official poster.
